Building Biology
HEALTHY HOMES THAT ARE BUILT TO LAST
Building Biology is the health science of the indoor built environment. It looks at the relationship between ourselves and the indoor spaces that we live, work and breathe in as well as investigating the geopathic stress within the land we develop on and how to mitigate any disturbances.
Building biology has several methods to test, evaluate and control nasty health hazards within indoor spaces. Building biologists also educate us on the devastating health affects indoor spaces can cause our bodies and the planet as a whole, and provide advice on how to reduce, minimise, and eliminate these hazards.
Some of the services a biologist conduct include include electromagnetic field testing, inspecting for moisture and mould, and conduct sampling for allergens and chemicals. They would also provide recommendations on water filters, conduct pre-inspection reports, provide advice on healthy personal care and cleaning products, and identify and address geopathic stress.
Our founder and director, Michael Malak, is on his way to becoming a certified Building Biologist and is a member of the ASBB, The Australian Society of Building Biologists. Every home we build is built using these building biology assessment and management solutions to ensure our homes are “healthy and built to last”.
